Mizo Eco-Escape: Hmuifang & Vantawng Falls

Aizawl · Hmuifang Hill · Thenzawl · Aizawl·
TOUR RATING
New on Evynx

Mizoram's pine-forest highlands and a waterfall plateau across five unhurried days

About this tour

Five days through Mizoram's central highland corridor - Aizawl's ridge-line monuments to open the trip, two nights in the pine forest resort at Hmuifang with a Sialsuk Meadows day trip, and a Thenzawl waterfall day before the Lengpui return. No single drive exceeds 1.5 hours. The package is designed for travellers who want the full Mizoram landscape experience - cloud-sea sunrises, Swiss-like meadows, walk-behind waterfalls, and artisan weaving - without the six-hour mountain road transits that characterise eastern border circuits. All four properties sit within a 100 km corridor of Aizawl.

Highlights

  • Hmuifang Hill - 1,619 m pine and orchid forest with a cloud-sea sunrise from the eastern cliff viewpoint
  • Sialsuk Meadows - rolling Swiss-like grasslands offering 360-degree views of layered blue mountain ridges
  • Vantawng Falls - Mizoram's highest waterfall at 750 feet with a walk-behind cascade at Tuirihiau Falls
  • Solomon's Temple - white-marble Mizoram landmark on a pine-shaded Chawlhhmun ridge above Aizawl city
  • Falkawn Cultural Village - Zawlbuk bachelor dormitory and chief's residence in preserved Mizo architecture
