Coorg Coffee Escape - A Relaxed Plantation Stay

Madikeri·
TOUR RATING
New on Evynx

Two nights on a coffee estate, a waterfall, a sunset, and mornings left to you.

About this tour

A slower kind of Coorg weekend, built around the estate rather than a sightseeing list. Two nights at a Premium plantation resort, a guided walk through the growing and processing cycle, a quiet stop at Bylakuppe's monastery on the way in, a short trail to Abbey Falls, and a morning with the elephants on the Cauvery. The rhythm is deliberately unhurried - half-days out, half-days on the property, with time to actually settle into a place instead of ticking it off. A private tour with flexible dates and no fixed group - for couples who would rather stay put and let one estate become familiar.

Highlights

  • Guided plantation walk - coffee from cherry to cup, through pulping, fermentation, and drying beds
  • Dubare Elephant Camp - a Forest Dept morning as the herd bathes on the Cauvery riverbank
  • Namdroling Monastery, Bylakuppe - India's largest Tibetan temple, an easy stop on the way in
  • Raja's Seat at dusk - Madikeri's most open view west over the coffee and pepper canopy
  • Abbey Falls - a 70-foot drop at the end of a shaded trail inside a working Coorg estate
