Silchar Arrival - Barak Valley Tea Estates and CTC Factory
Arrival at Silchar Airport in Assam's Barak Valley. The afternoon is a guided walk through a British-era tea garden and an operational CTC processing plant. A colonial-era bungalow or a city resort provides the night's stay.
The NH6 Mountain Crossing - Silchar to Kolasib
The day of the great landscape shift - the flat Barak plains give way to bamboo forest gorges on the NH6 mountain crossing. The Vairengte border checkpoint marks the entry into Mizoram. Kolasib, the first Mizoram overnight, sits on a mountain shelf above the Tlawng River gorge.
Driving Up to the Cloud Capital - Kolasib to Aizawl
The 85 km drive south through high pine and bamboo forest ridges delivers guests to Aizawl, the Mizoram capital at 1,132 metres. The afternoon covers the two anchor monuments of the city before an evening walk through Bara Bazar.
Living Heritage and Aizawl Viewpoints
A full day in the Aizawl corridor - Falkawn Cultural Village to the south, then the Luangmual Handicraft Centre, the glass skywalk and Durtlang Viewpoint on the northern ridge, with an evening music cafe.
Reiek Tlang Summit Trek and Farewell Bonfire
The trek day - a 7:30 AM departure west to the Reiek trailhead for the guided 3.5 km ascent to the 1,548 m summit cliff with its sheer valley drop. The afternoon descends through Reiek Heritage Village. A farewell bonfire closes the six-day arc.
Final Breakfast and Lengpui Airport Departure
A relaxed final morning, checkout, and the 30 km descent from the Aizawl ridge to Lengpui Airport through the Tlawng River gorge. The open-jaw circuit ends at Lengpui for flights to Guwahati or Kolkata.

- Warm jacket for Kolasib and Aizawl evenings - both sit above 900 m with cool nights year-round
- Tripod for Reiek summit and Kolasib gorge - low-light ridge shots benefit from a stable base
- No honking in Aizawl and maintain quiet conduct - city-wide civic code observed strictly
- No plastic on Reiek Tlang trail - community eco-zone, carry your waste out throughout the walk

Cancellation & Refunds Policy

This policy applies to all Tours booked on Evynx, unless a specific tour page clearly states a different policy ("Special Policy"). By booking a Tour, you agree to the terms below.

- Booking Time
- The time your payment is successfully completed on Evynx.
- Start Time / Departure
- The departure time/date shown on the Tour detail page and confirmation.
- Refund Method
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method unless you choose Evynx Travel Credit (when offered).
Risk-Free 24-Hour Cancellation (Evynx Promise)
For all the Tours, you may cancel free of charge within 24 hours of Booking Time, provided the Tour departure is at least 7 days away.
Standard Cancellation Refunds (Tours)
Evynx Tours are listed as either Group Tour (fixed departure) or Private Tour (custom/private arrangement). Refund tiers depend on the tour type:
Group Tours (Fixed-Departure)
- More than 21 days before departure: 90% refund
- 14–21 days before departure: 75% refund
- 7–14 days before departure: 50% refund
- 3–7 days before departure: 25% refund
- Less than 72 hours / No-show: No refund
Private Tours
- More than 30 days before departure: 90% refund
- 21–30 days before departure: 75% refund
- 14–21 days before departure: 50% refund
- 7–14 days before departure: 25% refund
- Less than 7 days / No-show: No refund
Note: "No-show" includes failure to report at the designated meeting/boarding time.
Rescheduling & Name Change
- Rescheduling eligibility: If rescheduling is offered for your Tour, it will be shown at checkout or in your booking confirmation.
- Reschedule policy: Reschedule requests are subject to availability on the requested date. Differential price will be charged extra.
- Name change (Group Tours): Name changes may be allowed up to 48 hours before departure, subject to operator ID/permit rules.
Operator / Evynx-Initiated Cancellation
If a Tour is cancelled by the operator or Evynx:
- You will receive a 100% refund, or
- You may choose a free reschedule (if available).
Your choice will be provided in the booking support flow.
Weather, Safety, and Force Majeure
If a Tour is disrupted due to weather, road closures, government restrictions, safety advisories, natural events, or similar circumstances:
- First preference is rescheduling (no extra charge where possible).
- If rescheduling is not possible, we will refund depending on:
- If the Tour has not started: 100% refund
- If the Tour has already started: Pro-rata refund (unused days/activities) minus any non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred.
Non-Refundable Components
Permits, entry tickets, special passes, or third-party reservations made in the traveler's name may be non-refundable once issued or booked.
Refund Timelines
- Evynx processes eligible refunds within 24–48 hours of approval.
- Banks/UPI may take 3–10 business days to reflect the amount.
