Ujjain & Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Darshan

TOUR RATING
New on Evynx

A fixed-departure double-Jyotirlinga group pilgrimage from Indore, Ujjain to Omkareshwar.

About this tour

A three-day fixed-departure group pilgrimage covering two of India's twelve Jyotirlingas - Ujjain's Mahakaleshwar, with its pre-dawn Bhasma Aarti, and Omkareshwar's river-island shrine shaped like the sacred Om symbol. The route runs from Indore to Ujjain for a night, then south to Omkareshwar for a second, with Bhasma Aarti seating booked directly through the temple's official portal for the whole group rather than left to third-party agents, travelling together in a shared Tempo Traveller. Built around bulletproof group logistics for a ritual that genuinely rewards careful planning - the dawn ash ritual at Mahakaleshwar fills within minutes of booking opening, and getting it wrong is the single most common way this pilgrimage goes badly for independent travellers. Fixed instant-confirmed departure dates take that planning risk off your hands.

Highlights

  • Mahakaleshwar Temple - one of India's twelve Jyotirlingas, pre-dawn Bhasma Aarti
  • Omkareshwar Temple - a river-island Jyotirlinga shaped like the sacred Om symbol
  • Ram Ghat - Ujjain's holiest Shipra riverfront, lit by thousands of oil lamps each evening
  • Harsiddhi Mata Temple - one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, steps from Ram Ghat on the Rudra Sagar
  • Mandhata Island - reached via a pedestrian suspension bridge across the Narmada
