We believe the right journey is about alignment, not persuasion.
A quick glance to help you understand what all will you experience during your journey
“One coffee estate for all four nights - wet-processing and grading trace the harvest, an evening in the Kodava kitchen, and Madikeri's bazaar and market woven through arrival and departure days.”
“One coffee estate for all four nights - wet-processing and grading trace the harvest, an evening in the Kodava kitchen, and Madikeri's bazaar and market woven through arrival and departure days.”
Below, you'll find how this journey unfolds - day by day, guided by people who live it.
The drive follows NH275 west from Bangalore - expressway to Mysore, then estate country toward Kushalnagar before the ghat climb into Madikeri. A mid-morning departure lands you at the estate by mid-afternoon, with time to settle before the evening walk into town.
Your base for all three nights is a working coffee and pepper estate homestay near Madikeri - you are staying inside the family's own operation, not a plantation-themed resort; the drying yard and processing shed are a short walk from your room, not a backdrop.
Lunch en route - Self-planned. Dinner at the estate - Included; a home-cooked Coorg meal, with the kitchen open to questions about what's in the pot.
You leave Bangalore for the Coorg highlands, settle into a working coffee estate homestay, and close the day with a walk through Madikeri's old bazaar lane among spice and coffee stalls.

No long drive today - the morning stays on the estate, walking from the arabica and robusta blocks to the wet-processing unit where the day's cherry picking is pulped and fermented, then the sorting and grading area where beans are separated by size and density before drying. The afternoon is open; the evening moves into the kitchen.
Second night at the same estate homestay - the household's own harvest-season rhythm, drying beds and all, continues around you rather than pausing for guests.
Breakfast at the estate - Included. Lunch - Self-planned. Dinner - Included; you cook alongside your hosts, learning a Coorg dish such as pandi curry or akki roti rather than just eating one.
A full estate day - the wet-processing unit and the coffee sorting and grading floor in the morning, then an evening in the kitchen cooking a Coorg meal alongside your hosts.

A short drive into Madikeri town for the morning market - produce, spice, and coffee stalls rather than a tourist bazaar - to pick out what goes into that evening's meal. The rest of the day stays at the estate; there is no further driving planned.
Third and final night at the estate homestay - an evening built around the season rather than a fixed programme, with your hosts explaining how the household observes Puttari, the Kodava rice-harvest festival usually held in early December, and Kailpodh, the shorter weapons festival in early October, when the calendar allows.
Breakfast at the estate - Included. Lunch - Self-planned. Dinner - Included; cooked from what you bought at the morning market.
A day shaped by Kodava Country's own seasonal markers - market produce for tonight's meal, and conversation with your hosts about how the household marks Puttari and Kailpodh.

Checkout after breakfast, then a short stop in Madikeri's bazaar lane for coffee, pepper, or honey to take home, before the descent via Kushalnagar and NH275 back to Bangalore.
Departure day - no overnight stay. The last morning at the estate is unhurried; pack after a final estate breakfast.
Breakfast at the estate - Included. Lunch en route - Self-planned. Dinner in Bangalore - Self-planned.
A final morning for spice and coffee shopping in Madikeri before the drive back to Bangalore.
