A quick glance to help you understand what all will you experience during your journey
“An arrival-evening Palki Sahib ceremony and a quiet dawn Parikrama darshan the next morning, then a full unhurried day at three lesser-visited Old City gurdwaras - no Wagah Border ceremony squeezed in.”
“A genuine overnight at the birthplace of the Khalsa, with darshan at Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib, the Virasat-e-Khalsa museum, and an unhurried morning at Qila Anandgarh Sahib before the return drive.”

Below, you'll find how this journey unfolds - day by day, guided by people who live it.
Airport or railway station pickup and hotel check-in in Amritsar, with the evening kept free for the Palki Sahib ceremony alone - no Old City or border stop squeezed in today.
Check into a Premium hotel in Amritsar for the first night, a short drive from the Golden Temple - the base for both Amritsar nights before moving on to Anandpur Sahib.
Lunch on arrival, self-planned, a simple Punjabi meal near the hotel. Dinner at the hotel after the evening Palki Sahib ceremony, a warm vegetarian thali served late.
Arrival in Amritsar and check-in, with the evening kept for the Golden Temple's Palki Sahib ceremony as the Guru Granth Sahib crosses to Sri Akal Takht Sahib - the first of two darshan sessions this trip includes.
Amritsar Arrival · Golden Temple · Palki Sahib Ceremony
A short walk to the Golden Temple for dawn darshan, then a full day moving between the three Old City gurdwaras by private vehicle - no Wagah Border ceremony added today.
Back at the same Premium hotel in Amritsar for the second night - the same unchanged room, no repacking or accommodation change required before Anandpur Sahib tomorrow.
Breakfast at the hotel after the dawn darshan. Lunch near the Old City, self-planned, simple Punjabi fare. Dinner at the hotel in the evening.
A quiet dawn Parikrama darshan at the Golden Temple, then a day through three lesser-visited Old City gurdwaras - Baba Atal Rai, Chheharta Sahib and Shiri San Sahib - not squeezed against the Wagah Border ceremony.
Golden Temple Dawn Darshan · Gurudwara Baba Atal Rai · Chheharta Sahib · Shiri San Sahib
Shared Tempo Traveller transfer from Amritsar to Anandpur Sahib, roughly 3.5 hours, on this trip's fixed departure date, timed to arrive by early afternoon for an unhurried darshan and museum visit rather than a rushed evening stop.
Check into a Premium hotel in Anandpur Sahib for the third night - a genuine overnight here rather than the same-day return to Amritsar every existing Tour makes.
Breakfast at the Amritsar hotel before departure. Lunch en route, self-planned, a highway stop. Dinner at the hotel in Anandpur Sahib, a vegetarian meal.
The drive to Anandpur Sahib - where Guru Gobind Singh Ji founded the Khalsa Panth in 1699 - arrives by early afternoon for an unhurried darshan at Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib and the Virasat-e-Khalsa museum's galleries.
Anandpur Sahib · Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib · Virasat-e-Khalsa Museum
A short visit to Qila Anandgarh Sahib and the Baoli springs, then checkout and the shared Tempo Traveller transfer back to Amritsar, roughly 3.5 hours, timed for a same-evening departure.
No night booked tonight - the journey ends with the same-day return drive to Amritsar.
Breakfast at the Anandpur Sahib hotel before checkout. No further meals are included today, timed around the return-drive departure.
An unhurried morning at Qila Anandgarh Sahib and the sacred Baoli springs, before checkout and the return drive to Amritsar for departure - closing a trip built around real time at the Khalsa's birthplace.
