Dawn darshan, Ganga Aarti and Sarnath across three guided Varanasi days.

About this experience

Three guided days that move through Varanasi at the city's own pace, from ghats to temples to old-city lanes, with one guide and vehicle throughout. It opens with the Ganga Aarti - a walk past Man Mandir and Manikarnika ghats to Dashashwamedh and the seven-priest lamp ceremony from a private boat. A dawn day follows with Sugam Darshan at Kashi Vishwanath, Kaal Bhairav, and an afternoon at Sarnath, where the Buddha gave his first sermon. The last morning begins before sunrise at Assi Ghat for the Subah-e-Benares, moves through the old-city food lanes and a silk weaving studio, and closes at the Durga temple and Bharat Mata Mandir. You arrange your own stay and meals.

Highlights

  • Dashashwamedh Ghat - evening Ganga Aarti's seven-priest synchronized lamp ceremony on the river
  • Kashi Vishwanath Jyotirlinga - one of India's 12 jyotirlingas, dawn Sugam Darshan fast-track

  • Assi Ghat Subah-e-Benares - pre-dawn Vedic chanting and live classical music at sunrise
