EXPERIENCE RATING
New on EvynxJibhi's cedar waterfall walk and the ancient Chehni Kothi tower above the Banjar Valley.
About this experience
A single guided day from Jibhi covering the valley's two best offbeat stops. Your guide walks you the cedar-forest path to Jibhi Waterfall, a stepped cascade through deodar trunks into a clear pool a kilometre from the village. A short drive toward Banjar then brings you to Chehni Kothi, a centuries-old Kath-Kuni stone-and-timber tower built without mortar - one of the best-preserved examples of traditional Himachali architecture in the Kullu district. The 30-minute approach climbs through apple and plum orchards past the Shringa Rishi junction. The afternoon closes with a walk through Jibhi village and its wooden-platform cafes before evening drop-off.
Highlights
- Jibhi Waterfall - stepped cascade through deodar trunks, a 20-minute walk from the village
- Chehni Kothi - Kath-Kuni stone-and-timber tower, built without mortar in the Kullu district
- Banjar Valley Orchards - apple and plum orchard trail with views of the Kullu snowpeak wall
- Shringa Rishi Junction - the old valley crossroads passed on the climb to Chehni Kothi
