It moves through the Harmandir Sahib parikrama, the nine-storey Gurudwara Baba Atal Rai, the well-shrine of Chheharta Sahib, and the semi-underground Shiri San Sahib, closing at the nightly Palki Sahib ceremony as the Guru Granth Sahib crosses to the Akal Takht, then drives to Dera Baba Nanak for its own gurdwaras and a viewpoint across the border toward Kartarpur Sahib. A private guide and vehicle run both days; you arrange your own Amritsar stay.

- No alcohol or tobacco on or near any gurdwara premises
- No photography inside Gurudwara Shiri San Sahib's underground sanctum
- Photography may be restricted in sensitive sections near the Dera Baba Nanak border
