The second is Raneh Falls, a roughly 5 km, 30-metre-deep granite canyon in shades of pink, red and grey, followed by the Ken Gharial Sanctuary at the Ken-Khudar confluence. Same guide throughout; forest permits and zone allocation handled in advance.

- Valid original government photo ID - required at the safari gate checkpoint
- Book well ahead - core-zone safari slots are gate-allocated with no walk-ins
- Neutral-toned clothing for the safari
- Khajuraho or Panna accommodation arranged independently before booking
Optional
- A telephoto lens or binoculars for long-range tiger and bird sightings
- A light jacket for the cooler safari hours
- Sunscreen and a hat for the Raneh Falls canyon walk
Rules & entry
- Original photo ID must match the digital safari permit exactly
- Core zones (Madla, Hinouta) are open mid-October to end of June only
- No evening safari on Wednesdays, per reserve rule

- Less than 72 hours / No-show: No refund
