EXPERIENCE RATING
New on EvynxShared-jeep trek to Kodachadri - genuinely cheaper per head than a private hire.
About this experience
A full-day guided trek to Kodachadri Peak, the guide and jeep pooled with other separately-booked travellers to split the cost - for travellers already based in Shivamogga. The trek is a 13-to-14-kilometre forest trail through the shola-grassland of Mookambika National Park, climbing roughly seven hundred metres of wet evergreen forest to the windswept 1,343-metre ridge of the Sarvajna Peetha, with coastal and Ghats panoramas on a clear day. A shared, pooled-jeep trek for travellers who want the Kodachadri summit without a private hire.
Highlights
- Kodachadri Peak - 1,343 m Sarvajna Peetha summit reached via a 13-14 km forest round trip
- A shared, pooled-jeep model - the trailhead jeep split among separately-booked trekkers
- Mookambika National Park - shola-grassland trail with Malabar trogon and giant squirrel sightings
- Summit Ridge Panorama - coastal plains to the west, Ghats ridgelines north and south on clear days
